In the higher education world, over 8 million college students have taken at least one online course in 2011. Slavic Christian Academy understands the unique benefits of online schooling and in 2004 opened its doors to the online world. Slavic Christian Academy students study challenging, college preparatory courses at home, at their own pace, and with a flexible schedule. Why Slavic Christian Academy?
Slavic Christian Academy is a college preparatory, private Christian school located in Spokane, Washington. The school was founded in 2004 under the educational department of Northwest Association of Slavic Baptist Churches (NWASBC) and has over 800 students in grades k-12. Slavic Christian Academy's mission is: "To empower our future leaders with knowledge and wisdom for the pursuit of academic excellence, creative expression, and spiritual fulfillment."
Why College Prep?
Slavic Christian Academy provides a challenging college preparatory education for high school students in a Christian environment. All of our courses have been developed to foster critical thinking skills and personal responsibility with high expectations for intellectual growth and academic achievement. Our students enjoy a wide range of AP, honors, and dual-credit courses and a learning environment that is engaging and independent. SCA teachers respect the individual learning style and the potential each student brings to our school. Our objective is to stimulate creative and independent thought and to develop a lifelong love of learning, personal integrity and an abiding faith in Christ.
